Meet Curly West

I started teaching in 1983 after attending a workshop in Auckland with Shandor Remette sharing what I had learnt from him with the class I was going to. Soon after I studied under Trevor Tangy, John Leebold, Martin Jackson ,Danielle Arin. , Felicity Green to name a few. I then completed my IYTA teacher training course before going to Seattle 1992 and attending aTT with Felicity Green. Then moved to the UK and studied with Danielle Arin and attended the Iyenga Institute in London with Mera Meeta. Back to Seattle in 1996 for mor TT. Returning to NZ to sit and pass my Iyenga certification. I have been teaching at the Tauranga Yoga Center for 35+ years. Taking weekly classes and workshops. Currently I am not teaching as am undergoing Chemotherapy and dealing with a broken hip. I hope to get back to my love of teaching and sharing my knowledge sometime later in the year.
