Meet Anne-Marie Tweedie

My introduction to Iyengar Yoga was in the early 1980’s after completing study in Physical Education at Otago University; and while still a competitive middle distance runner. The journey has been demanding; revealing; and inspiring – and therein lies the learning. It has been the very best of journeys and one that I will stay committed to; and supported by; in the years ahead.

My teaching over many years has remained focussed on supporting local students in the application of their yoga practice to daily living and encouraging a sense of enquiry.

I am actively involved in the IYNZ Teachers’ Certification process as both a Teacher Trainer and an Assessor.
