I began practicing Iyengar yoga around 1997 with Senior teacher David Jacobs in Cape Town; South Africa. In 2001; I moved to New Zealand and shortly after began classes with Melodie Batchelor. In 2007 I started teacher training with Melodie and gained my certification in 2011. My yoga practice has been a constant source of strength; stability and nourishment through the highs and lows of life; including emigration; pregnancy; motherhood and menopause. I love sharing this transformative practice with my students in my home studio in Oratia; West Auckland.
